For the most flawless, even and long-lasting Lusso Tan, a little preparation makes all the difference.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
24 HOURS BEFORE

Exfoliate your entire body, paying extra attention to elbows, knees, ankles and feet.

Shave or wax at least 24 hours before your appointment.

Make sure any previous tan is fully removed.

Avoid using other self-tanning products in the days leading up to your appointment.
ON THE DAY
Arrive with clean, dry skin and do not apply:

Moisturiser or body oils

Deodorant or perfume
-
Makeup
-
Other skincare products that may create a barrier
Wear loose, dark clothing, open-toe shoes or flip-flops to avoid rubbing your fresh tan.
YOUR LUSSO TAN
Your tan will be professionally applied using premium Lusso Tan products and customised to your desired depth — from a subtle sun-kissed glow to a deeper bronze.
Your therapist will advise you of your exact development and rinse time, depending on the Lusso formula and shade selected.
AFTER YOUR TAN
WHILE YOUR TAN DEVELOPS
Keep your skin dry and avoid:

Showering or bathing
-
Swimming
-
Exercise or excessive sweating
-
Rain or getting wet
-
Tight clothing or rubbing
YOUR FIRST RINSE
Rinse with lukewarm water only. No soap or exfoliating products are needed.
It is completely normal to see the guide colour wash away.
Your tan will continue to develop after your first rinse.
Gently pat your skin dry — don't rub.
KEEP YOUR GLOW
To make your Lusso Tan last as long as possible:

Moisturise daily with a gentle, oil-free lotion.

Use gentle, non-exfoliating body washes.

Avoid products containing AHA acids, which can strip your colour.

Avoid long, hot showers and baths.

Minimise chlorine, hot tubs and saunas where possible.

Pat your skin dry rather than rubbing.
WHEN YOUR TAN FADES
Once your tan has naturally started to fade, gently exfoliate to remove any remaining colour and prepare your skin for your next tan. Focus on dry areas such as your elbows, knees and ankles.
Prep well. Keep your skin hydrated. Be gentle.
